Mission
Angel Step Inn Domestic Violence Emergency Shelter seeks to prevent and reduce the co-morbidity of domestic violence and substance addiction in Los Angeles County. Angel Step Inn exists to assist battered, chemically dependent woman and their children with achieving self-dependence. We believe individuals have a right to live without fear, violence, degradation, or abuse of any kind and victims are not responsible for the abuse and violence perpetrated upon them. To achieve our mission, we actively engage in a wide range of activities in the area of domestic violence, including advocacy, community education, inter-agency collaboration, and substance abuse prevention and treatment.
