About Us
Southern California Alcohol and Drug Program, Inc. (SCADP) has historically served women and
children in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. In 1995 SCADP created Angel Step Inn Domestic Violence Emergency Shelter
with the philosophy that battered women did not have to get sober before
seeking safety from abuse for themselves and children. The shelter accepts all victims of domestic violence regardless of race, color,
religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or
disability. We also believe substance abuse treatment is not a replacement for
domestic violence counseling.
